We're building the matchmaker
the internet forgot to build.
For most of human history, people didn't find partners through feeds. They were introduced — by someone who knew them well, understood their family and values, and could vouch for the other person. It wasn't perfect, but it had something today's apps lost: a matchmaker who actually knew you.
Modern dating apps replaced that knowing with volume. Photos, hobbies, a bio written in a hurry — then thousands of strangers and infinite swiping. The result is well documented: burnout, shallow conversations, and the people most serious about love quietly giving up on the apps entirely.
Chitti exists to bring the knowing back — with the one technology finally capable of it. Our AI matchmaker holds a real conversation with you, in your own language, over a day or two. It learns your character, your values, your way of loving, your non-negotiables. And only then does it introduce you — to a small number of people it genuinely believes belong in your life, with an honest explanation of why.

The founder
Sriram Anush Uppugunduru
Founder · AI/ML EngineerSriram is an AI engineer who believes the most meaningful application of language models isn't productivity — it's understanding people. He is currently pursuing his M.Tech at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and works hands-on with language models at Wipro, building small-language-model pipelines for production financial systems. Before that, he spent over two years at Cognizant engineering cloud infrastructure and automation — the kind of experience it takes to build a platform people can trust with something as personal as their search for love.
